I’ve had this zoa frag in my tank a couple months now and just noticed because it was closed up that it has a couple bubble algaes growing on it. Whats the easiest and best way to take care of this?

I have found that it’s pretty easy to just gently peel it off with fingers or tweezers. It usually will come off as a clump. You want to make sure you are removing it all including the base where it is attached to the plug. If you miss some it will grow back.

Some peroxide, like @Subsea mentioned is added insurance to kill anything you may have missed.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that, yes it’s much safer if you can do this by removing the frag plug or rock from the tank.

IMO get it out asap before it starts growing everywhere, it can become a major problem fast if you let it.
lol, scaring the **** outta of us 😅 It was once said that scraping bubble algae released spores/seeds etc, When you see them, turn off flow, still waters! Scrape and syphon.. or stick a couple of Emerald Crabs in there.

The flipside to the coin, you know your water is good
