Just need to rename a Head that was previously used for a different product? I cant seem to find it anywhere on the app and nothing on the manual. help please.

I don't have a ReefDose, but if you click on the three dots "..." in the upper right corner of the ReefBeat app, then select Device Manager - you should be able to rename your heads (this works for my ReefWaves and ReefMat).

Hope this helps:

Click on the Head you want to rename, in this case I'm using Nitrate

The app should bring you to this screen:

Once on the Head Screen scroll down to the bottom of the page:

Once at the bottom, you should have what you need, hope this helps:

Thanks for your help,
Funny my apps on both IOS and android don't have the edit option, I ended up deleting the head and recreating it, easy enough but now I want the edit option

Be sure the firmware is up to date. Under Device Manager, choose ReefDose4 (or whatever you named it) and click the ellipses to the right.

Same I don't have the edit options on mine! All firmware up to date.

I need to rename one myself, I also have 2×reefdose2's and they don't have this option either.

Why did they take this option away so stupid. Because now you have to delete the head then added again and then calibrate it.

On one of my ReefDose4's, below 'Show on homepage' is 'Edit brand name', 'Edit Supplement name' and 'Edit head name'. Current firmware version: 1.2.4

On the other, I do not have that option and they are on the same firmware version...strange.

One of the ReefDose4's is a couple of years old and it allows for edit. The other is less than a year old and does not allow for edit.

Ye I have same version, no edit feature. Are you using android or iPhone or they different?

Edit feature is only there if you chose custom supplements during initial setup

If you chose a basic one that prefilled you can’t change it

Note I can’t change mag head but I can change my trace head
