How to revive a trachy

So today i bought this trachyphyllia from my local lfs where it wasn’t doing to well because it had way too much flow in their coral tanks, my trachy does great in my system. So i bought this one for 25% of its original cost. Currently my plan is to target feed 2 times a week and i have it in an acclimation box for ultra low flow. Do you have any other tips for the best possible recovery?

The main reason i think i can do this is that my trachy once got blasted and properly ripped and i managed to fully revive it to being super fleshy and healthy

I think you are doing what you can. I would try feeding more often but only tiny amounts. And after 30 minutes gently blow off any food remaining. Decrease feedings after it begins to accept food

I wouldn’t personally recommend feeding more than once a week for trachys because in the past ive had issues with reviving them since they would get digestive issues. They are hardy coral as long as you consistently keep them in low flow (tissue should not be lifting up at all) and lower light. 80 par is the sweet spot for me in the past. Just dont change too many things and keep it consistently within those more gentle parameters and it should recover. Feeding can sometimes be too much of an exertion for healing coral, so that is why i recommend once per week or even less often. Let the coral fully recover from its last feeding and get all the nutrients properly settled before shoving more food in.
