How to rinse gravel?

How do you rinse gravel, like I mean what do you use, a hose and then saltwater or ro or what do you use?

Do you mean to start a tank? Then tap water till it’s clear then a good rinse in rodi water, if the tank is running and already cycled, then salt water, preferably old tank water.
