I am getting the room that my fish tank is in painted. I have heard that putting in a carbon bag can help get some of the toxins from the paint out of the tank. What is the best way to run carbon? I have a bag of it that came with my Red Sea reef mat. How long should I keep it in there to make sure the tank is safe from all toxins of the paint?

You can run it in the media basket of the ReefMat, but remove the basket every week and rinse to avoid detritus buildup which will artificially inflate your fleece usage. Toss after 30 days.
