Hey reefers! My name is Dave from suburbs of Detroit! I have always been fascinated by reefing but too poor for it growing up! Now I am starting to get my feet wet and am loving learning about the science of reefing. It's alot to take in, though, so I'm taking it slow before I burn myself out. I look forward to learning from and being a part of this community!

I have a Fluval evo 13.5 that I have in the process of cycling right now! I hope to get a clownfish or 2, shrimp & goby combo, then the standard cuc, maybe adding a cleaner shrimp and starting with beginner LPS dominant corals & going from there. I would like to see it fully stocked & thriving, before a big upgrade, when I move into a more accommodating home! I have seen some really cool Fluval setups though, and I hope to be right up there with them. I've already upgraded & customized nearly everything in the tank (most gear still on the way). I think maybe I could've been more thoughtful about my aquascape, but if I end up not liking it, I'll start from scratch if need be!
