hydnophora??

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. It looks the same as it did in the store. It was cheap and the people at the store didnt know what it was. I think its a hydnophora, but the ones I see online are super fuzzy. There are polyps visible but nothing like what what I see on the interwebs. Is this normal for a small frag? Is it something different or is it not in good health?

I would agree branching hydnophora.

Let it settle in and it will get fuzzy when it is happy.

Keep it away from all other corals. Hydnophora is as stinger!

Thank you! I've read they can be aggressive but its a large tank and I have lots of room.

Branching Hydnophora, yes. They will take small particulate food. A hardy coral for the most part.
