Hey all,
So I’m confused. I have two hydra 32 hds. And while i have them configured in either mobius or the mxm module on the apex there are two settings I’m confused on.
1. There are all the channels for color and percentages right?
2. There is a “overall intensity” percentage as well…
So my logic is I have blues , uvs , royal, at like 110-120%, red and green at 10, and whites around 20-30. But I have overall intensity at 60% on my 425 g2 Red Sea. Mounting height is 10” off the water surface.
Does this overall intensity mean it only runs the selected colors at a MAX light output of 60% then? I’m assuming yes. But part of me is wondering if I’m running these things at full bore and going to nuke any coral I throw at it. While it’s been like this for a month, things seem ok, but im a bit worried and just want to make sure because there is point intensity on the apex, as well as point intensity (overall) within mobius…. The percentages of color channels I assume are just for how saturated I want the channel in terms of spectrum for that specific channel.
