Ok Zoa Lords - what's is this? Wherever this fuzz is the polyps are closed in my zoa dominated lagoon.

Video is better but the quality downgraded quality crazy from my phone

Some kinda tiny hydroid maybe?

This is the worst affected frag but there are single polyps closed on other colony's with similar stuff on them- some only half closed with this on the side irritating it.

This frag is just about to go in for its third treatment of nitrofurazone, thinking about going with peroxide this time as well.

There are also little bugs around the mouth of the smaller polyp- wondering if these are more than just pods. I also see these walking around other irritated zoas.

Any thoughts??

It would sure be nice to get an image under white lighting.

:)

I haven’t seen this in years. I used to deal with it here and there a long time ago.

It may be protozoan. I noticed it would spread through the water column and affect a colony here and there. I don’t recall what the solution was though, sorry.
