I'm hoping sometime out there can help me.

I have a Hydros set up.
Wave engine, X4, and X3.

I have a hydros dosing pump (the simple one).
I don't have any drive ports available.

I have 2 Hydros wifi strips and I've never had any problems or dropouts or any issues whatsoever.

I had a an Avast Marine kalk reactor that I really want (need) to start using.

Can I use the hydros dose pump to feed the kalk reactor?
How do I regulate the dose pump to dose only the amount needed?

I am NOT good with controlling / programming hydros!

I need to set up the dose pump on a wifi outlet, program that outlet to rum the doser x times a day for x amount every time it dosses.

Can I do this?
How can I do this?

We really don't recommend setting up a dosing on Wi-Fi outlets. However, with Kalkwasser, it should be relatively acceptable.

You are able to get a 120 volt to 12 volt drive port adapter on our outlet. This would allow it to be powered via AC power instead of a drive port.

Make sure to follow the directions that are included within the app and online to set up a doser output.

There you would simply select how fast the doser is rated for, which is 40 mls a minute for the drive port doser, and where it's plugged into.

Then, you would create a schedule, to tell it how much to dose and when to dose it.

If you are not good at Hydros configuration, reach out to us at support! There, we can remote in alongside you confirm any configuration, and help you get set up even more.
