I am getting crazy readings on my Hydros Flow meter. 9ish PM numbers shoot up to around 300, then at 9am shoot down to around 200. I’ve checked everything out and even wattage used stays the same. The smaller changes is my opening valves while testing theories. Last thing to check is lighting as it goes on at 9am and off at 9pm. I moved the Sense wire completely away from any other wire and still got the jump. Not sure if the 300gph is the correct reading or the 200. Hopes it’s the 300 as this is a 7000 sicce/redsea pump with the supposed ability of 1200gph and this head height which I’m only able to 400 at 100% apparently.

I’ll be checking if any signals on my AI 16 primes may be interesting as I can only assume it’s lights since that is the only thing changing in the tank at those times.

Anyone else ever seen this?

Here is my flow sensor graph. The pump is a Sicce Syncra Silent 3.0.

Thanks for the response. This is the usual from last night.

Have you been able to match it with an output turning on or off at the times that is changing.

Today I turn Les off the lights during the time of heightened “flow” with no difference. However I remembered my sump refugium light comes on and off at those time and sure enough when I turned on the fuge light the meter jumped to the night time lever I have been seeing. I just unplugged the light cord at the light but kept the little transformer plugged into the strip so see that could be causing it and no, back down to the 210Gph level with the five light unplugged.

The light as you can see is pretty far away from the flow meter, I don’t see how that is causing interference…

Does the flow meter cable come near the cables for the lighting?
