Just wanted to share a quick video I made to show how the rope leak sensor works on the Hydros Control.

Nice work on the video! IMO the rope sensor is a game changer and one of the many things I like about the Hydros system!

The rope sensor is great. You have the sensitivity set at the minimum voltage; have you have any false alarms with it set so low?

Thanks. Need to get better at editing but that’s the first time I’ve ever recorded my screen. The rope is indeed a game changer and can single handedly save someone from complete disaster.

No false alarms yet. :)

Just received my rope sensor and trying to figure the best spot in my setup to put it...can I ask where you mounted yours? I was thinking the top edge around my sump to let me know if the return pump failed and/or my refugium pump failed or outlet was clogged.

So I have a small nano so my leak sensor runs along the baseboard behind the tank. You can put it anywhere. If I had a tank with a sump I would put it in the stand around the perimeter so I would know if the sump was overflowing.
