I upgraded my Fluval evo 5 from the stock light to the Hygger 30w reef LED a few weeks ago. While most of my corals are looking much better (chalice, candy cane, mushrooms, favia, button Scolymia), my acans in particular have remained shrunken in rather than puffy. I was running the light on setting 4/5 (roughly 70%) before reducing it to 3/5 (roughly 50%). Is it probably that this issue is caused by an excessive amount of light? I am planning on reducing the light’s power to 2/5 (35%) while moving it down to be about 6 inches above the surface of the tank. Any advice for how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated, especially from those familiar with this light.

Did you see positive results from reduction in intensity? How deep is the tank?
It's odd that the other LPS responded positively and the Acan/Micromussa did not.
