With the ever changes in the hobby and industry, what product(s) have suddenly been difficult to find?

For me, various frozen foods and certain medications such as Quick cure

Not necessarily a product but certain fish are increasingly difficult to buy such as a yellow tang due to the Hawaii fish ban

And Unfortunately, every time we get hope, it once again becomes prolonged.

Isn't quick cure and ich-x essentially the same thing where its a mix of formalin + malachite green or is this some other type of medicine called quick cure?
On the main topic at hand though, finding nitrofurazone affordably is a huge challenge now with bifuran/furan 2 being all but gone and rip frozen gammarus from hikari.

As a Canadian reefer, it is nearly impossible to find medications of any sort for our aquariums. Health Canada changed the rules a few years back, LFS and pet stores are not allowed to carry anything labeled as medicine. So we are left with few options when our fish get sick. So we are left with DIY medications, going to the vet for the medication, or desperate praying to the reefing gods for a positive outcome.

Doesn’t government just do such a great job! I mean they did mess up the gas can. Don’t underestimate government incompetence

Im aware and to make matters worse is that germany and UK have much more options.

Ich X which is an ineffective product contains 3% watered down formaldehyde and quick cure is 37%

I just replaced my MH set in January, variety of MH lights has definitely become difficult to find - Especially in Canada, I had to order from the U.S.

Have to definitely add pukani dry/live rock and tonga branch rock. Gen 1 of real reef branch was a great substitute but the current version is nothing like what old tonga branch was like.

Yep, years ago i broke down a 500 gallon and kept several buckets of spare dry rock in the storage shed, including some really nice large pieces of Tonga. Nowadays, I’m glad I did.

back from 2016 when i started .... $20 yellow tang! $49 flame angel! $50's powder brown/purple tang. those are prices that i don't see anymore, and never will. im sure some of you reefer who started before me have a thing or 2 to say about life stock prices from back in the day.

I happen to have 6 Yellow tangs I paid $29.99 - $49.99 for , A potters angel I paid $ 89 for and my Flame was $34.99
My Marine betta was $59.99, Copperband $ 75 and Cleaner wrasse $9.99.
8 clowns were $8.99 each

5 yellow tangs was my first purchase from live aquaria, it was on sale for medium size and my total was like under $120
