150 deep dimension was so cheap I couldnt say no. A guy was using this tank for freshwater. It had the upgraded majestic stand. Under the stand was a trigger emerald 34 sump and a ehiem 950ish gph return pump.
He said "the wife wants a dining room table so $400 and you can have it all including the plumbing". Now its mine.

Im gonna use the zeovit method. I have never tried this method before. That is one of the reasons why i want to try it. This will be a sps only tank with lots of flow. I'll dose brs two part with brs dosers. For the skimmer Im going to use my trusty euro-reef I've had for years. I have 2 reefkeeper systems so im going to use both on this. 2 temp probes so i can have redundancy and 2 heaters also.
Its gonna be a bare bottom tank so i will pour liquid rubber to cover the bottom glass to reduce the glare from the lights and to protect the glass from the rocks on the bottom.
For the lights i will use LED fixtures I built a few years ago with 5 watt cree leds and a typhoon controller. I will have to ramp them way down because PAR is not an issue especially if i use zeovit.

SCORE!! Awesome tank for the price. You're going to want a big ATO reservoir. I use a 25 gallon brute for my 125, but I can keep it in the shop behind the tank. If you can hide it, it'll save you a lot of work if you can go big.

I Love my euro reef skimmer. I’m running a reefdynamics right now as it’s a bit smaller. Sweet score on the new setup.

Making progress. Painted inside the stand with a white oil based epoxy to keep the sump area clean and waterproof. Of course the doors are off and the tape needs to come off. Got my lights on and ready to go. Still need to get a few things before i add water like a ato container and dosing containers.

I painted the inside of the cabinet a white oil based epoxy to keep ot clean and waterproof. I also installed led lights in the sump area so i can see. I always hated it being dark under there and having to grab a flashlight. They change colors but i just want them on white.

With the leds turned off the still light up very dimly. Must be residual voltage present. Any ideas on how to stop this?

Any ideas to stop the stray voltage?
Are you sure they arey the moonlights? There may be separate switch for the moonlights.
