I was just cleaning my tank and found this little critter
Should I keep him in there or remove it?

It is a Stomatella, harmless, an algae eater.

Looks like a so-called elephant slug, but would have to get a better photo to be sure. Does he eve display a white streak or part of a shell on his back? Too bulky and dark to be a Stomatella IMO.

All good for the tank in any case, I think. Can you get a better-lit photo, from the side maybe?

Its a stomatella, abalone-shaped shell. Black is not as common of a color, but still exist.
