I'm 9 months to the hobby and don't know anything about zoas other than they are pretty. Is this a zoa and if so with it only being one will it multiple? Also what type of light(intense,Med, low) do they like and water parameters? Do all types of zoas like the same conditions are do they vary?

Interesting never heard of that but not surprising since I'm so new. Would you change your thoughts if you knew that this one has been there for months, maybe 4, and hasn't multiplied?

Nope.
They will multiply to plague levels, and they're harder to get rid of than aiptasia

If possible get a macro shot and do not add saturation. Majano can be very attractive and benign then sprout up all over the tank, and they to sting corals.

Thanks everyone. Appreciate the guidance. I'll go about removing it.
Be careful removing it. If you make it angry it will just curle up and you won't get it. If you try to dig it out you could spread them. I would squirt some boiling water on him to get rid of it (outside the tank)

Form or function: Do you consider your rock work to be art or the platform for your coral?
