I went through several cameras and I wasn't happy with them. I finally found this one that suctions to the glass preventing any glare from the windows across the room.

They still get washed out at night by the blues, but I don't think any camera is going to look good during the day and at night.

It's a Panasonic home hawk (I actually bought 3). I got them open box to save a couple of bucks, because they aren't cheap.

My only complaint is that the viewing angle is kind of narrow, which is why I have 3.

The video looks great, but how many cameras would you need to see let's say an entire 6ft tank?

I have a 6ft tank as well. I use a Wyze Gen 2 camera set 3 feet from the tank and it captures the entire tank pretty well. Not the best but it works pretty well.

That looks good, but I don't have anything to put it on. Also, the windows on the other side let in alot of light.

Yeah I actually have the camera sitting on top of my monitor. My tank is to the side of my desk in my office. I want to switch to a better camera, just trying to figure out the mounting for it.

I have seen those. There are some other cameras like that as well that are designed to afix to windows. I just don't like the narrow field of view when you afix it directly to the tank. I want to see my whole tank not just a cross section of it.

Might have to look into one of those cameras!

Like I said, that's my only complaint. Anything I have ever used that didn't mount to the glass resulted in reflections

We have a thread about cameras. Check that out too for what others are saying. Wyze is a top choice
