I got chemiclean in my mouth. How concerned should I be?

I ordered some chemiclean as well as some miscellaneous other items including herbal supplements from amazon. Well, the first item I took out of my large amazon box was the herbal supplements. I went to use my teeth to rip the plastic seal off because I was going to take one. I suddenly tasted a bitter, super nasty taste.

I looked through the rest of the package and found the chemiclean in it's box packaging without the lid. The entire contents of the powder had spilled everywhere in the larger box containing everything else.

How concerned should I be? I rinsed my mouth out like crazy but I'm worried that I swallowed some in my saliva at first.

It is probably a variant of an antibiotic called erythromycin. If your not breaking out in hives with an allergic reaction, you will be perfectly fine. The toxic effect listed in the MSDS is the same as erythromycin side effects.

That is good to hear....I think this is the first time i have ever read about somebody eating Chemi-Clean
