I have a question.

I am in Ontario, and finding copepods seems almost impossible. Raising them seems pretty simple. How hard would it be to raise these guys and sell them? I could quite literally be the only guy in a province of 15 mil selling these things.

Depends on the breed I believe. Some are easy and some can be very challenging. Ultimately the main trouble you'll have to contend with is contamination - A batch can get destroyed by other types of pods or bacteria competing for resources.

In terms of selling you'll need quite a bit of equipment - bottles, shipping gear, etc etc. I guess depends on scale you intend to go for.

You could probably get started pretty cheaply and easily to see what your local market is like, but the costs will add up as you try to scale and automate a lot of the busy work I imagine.

Lots of places in Ontario sell copepods.... Cultured by Science, Candy Corals, Saltwater Pros, Fragbox, New Dawn Aquaculture..... join the GTA Reef club on facebook, other places also advertise there.

I checked them out. They ship in one to two business days. I dunno about that. I think you need to hit a live tank and get em home before a few hours expire.
