Today we have this fella:



Looks to be from the Cassidae family. I was thinking Cassis Tuberosa? Though it could be a juvenile Cassis Cornuta. I’m not 100% sure. This was the only picture I was able to get at the LFS and the employees didn’t know anything about snails. Hoping one of you guys could help!

Hmm, not a family I see often, so not one I'm great at ID'ing, but C. tuberosa has a back corner of the shell that projects out and C. cornuta does not. You could use the presence or absence of the projection to tell which species here.
