So i purchased 12 about 8 months ago but 4 in my one tank and 8 in the other well i thought theyvall died. Never saw a single one. Came back from bacation to find my one tank almost completely gone of aiptasia. Well now there climbing on the glass so im transferring to my 125 that still has a little left. I tried to preserve one rock with aiptasia in my sump. But how would i go about setting up a ten gallon. Can i jist use a HOB filter and water from my tank along with a heater and a small light. Im tring to not cconsume to mich more energy to grow the aiptasia i do have extra rock. I need to do something asap because im going to have dying berghia. Also if anyone knows anyone in the north east central pa are that needs berghia please let me know i dont want these guys to die. Also travel to new jersey alot. They are not free tho you can always send me a message thank you

Once you run out of aiptasia they will die/starve in a few days. Maybe a week tops. They will only eat aiptasia and each one needs several each day. If you don’t sell/give them away you will lose them.
They will clear a rock in a day or two and then you are back to the original situation

Not seeing them is a good thing, they are nocturnal, they feed at night. Seeing them on the glass during the day is the sign there is no aptaisia and the nudi's are starving. The nudi's will die, and a few months later you will see aptaisia's again and need to get more nudi's, its a cycle that has no end.

I need to add them annually
They clean the tank of all aiptasia in 2-3 months. I’ll go 6 months with no aiptasia. Then they start popping up minorly here and there, is it my fault from new things I’ve added over the last 6 months? Very likely. And by the start off the next year, I’ll introduce the berghia again and repeat the cycle before the issue gets too bad

Their on the glass but i keep introducing new aiptasia to the tank from my other tank as well as i just put some in my sumps. I need to start farming the aiptasia because i want to be able to keep these guys alive my lfs is wanting to buy them but she is overstacked right now.
