LOL, there were mats under the mats. This process will continue regularly for a while.

;SorryThe image is misleading. It is bare bottom. The mats were mostly blown away.
Good luck man! I have seen your tank prior you'll be back on track soon.Back to the tank. Blew off Cyanobacteria today and did another 10% water change. Anemone is not looking good, but still alive. The Bonsai valida and FHC Fire Weed are dead. The LPS mostly look good, but the Lobophyllia is struggling and the Duncans are still closed. I added a powerhead for flow along the bottom while waiting for a gyre replacement. I have hope and will stay positive with all specimens that remain.

Ha! I'm in my late 30s and I still cant grow anything close to a full beard.
I hit 3,000 posts today and totally missed it. LOL. Yes, I still love arbitrary numbers. I guess with @Katrina71 ’s thread about to hit 20,000 posts I was distracted.
Thanks. The Duncan closed for two months when I got it then came back strong. I have high hopes for it. The anemone was looking better today after the water change.I have 4 kinds of ugly algae in my tank right now. Your cyano will get worse before it starves itself out. I think you are there. It's hitting week 3-4 right? Your Duncan will be fine.
Ha! Today I watched Holy Grail waiting for the couch to come.
I wanted to share...
Thank you for adding some beauty to my thread. The purple with the green is just delicious.
Pfff. Cyano doesn't scare me! It just makes the greens pop.
The good news is you are getting the full impact. :- )Beautiful. Wish I can smell them
