I picked this guy up today and he has been spending all day picking at things on the glass, on the rocks, under frag racks, snail shells, etc. I had always thought that fairy wrasses only ate from the water column? I’m not complaining just didn’t expect it. Cool active little guy.

He is a new addition. May be just feeling things out. I feed a mix of frozen, Benereef, NLSpelets, and nori. He is definitely not a picky eater.
And how often do you feed that?

NLS pellets are on an autofeeder twice daily about 1/4 teaspoon each feeding. Benereef is broadcast 1/2 teaspoon twice a week, nori is 1/4 sheet daily, and frozen is one cube a week after water change.
All considered, that's not really a lot. Wrasses really need 2-3 feedings a day of meaty foods. Depending on the competition the wrasse has to get to those pellets every day, he might be underfed.
