I want my BTAs to split!!!!!!

I have two massive 12”+ bubbletip anemones that just won’t split
I was really hoping for a tank full of nice sized clones.
I bought three (all clones) this summer from a local fellow reefer who had a beautiful all nem aquarium, so I am hoping to duplicate that myself but the two huge nems just won’t oblige my request

I feed them once or twice a month. They have plenty of light and never move so I presume they are good and healthy.

Should I feed more?
Do massive water changes?

All non-anecdotal suggestions are welcome and appreciated, thanks!!!

Just leave it. It looks good!.

Or you could take them out and cut them in half between the mouth with a sharp blade, then put them back in and hope for the best.

It could just be the type of anemone you have. I have a forest fire nem that keeps annoyingly splitting and I have 5 now from 1 in a year. I don't even feed them. I should really take them out and trade them to the LFS.

I don't feed mine anything other than what floats by when I'm feeding the fish. One turned into 5 in less than a year.

No need to do anything. Success in this hobby is based on patience.

Thank you :) they do look beautiful when they sway back and forth but I’m definitely hoping for many clones to fill all the rocks.
I know cutting is an option but besides not being able to dislodge their big feet from deep in the rocks, I wouldn’t want to diminish their health in any possible way. Natural splits are my preferred choice :)

Be careful what you wish for….. I bought a RBTA clone, and that 1 turned into 20+ in a 15 gallon tank. I was finding mini clones in the rear chamber of my AIO. It was nice but then just became a headache. I have sworn off BTA’s for a while now because of that experience.
