Ice cap 2k gyre

I got a new ice cap 2k gyre for Christmas and finally hooked it up yesterday . It makes a whistle/humming noise every time it comes on, is this normal?

Not sure if this might be the problem, but make sure that there are no air bubbles in the blade section. I have a 3k and can tell when there is a air trapped inside the blade cage. When this happens I turn off the pump and flip the pump underwater every which way I can and 9 times out of 10, ill see a couple of air bubbles escape.

My 4ks are noisy....they move water but my god they are loud. ive Come to hate them.

I’ll try turning down the max flow, the idea of them is awesome but if they are going to be noisy then I’ll prob sell

My 2k is not noisy at all, but I am not running it at full speed either

Make sure the shaft is properly seated and the bearings are in the housing

I have two 4k and one of them hums pretty good, im used to it now. But boy do they kick some flow
