Decided to switch my skimmer area into a fuge instead. Skimmer was used for around 6months.
I just cleaned it up and its in perfect shape. I have the larger skimz air silencer on it to make it quieter compared to the stock one that was much louder. Comes with the stock one as well.
Asking $105 shipped

Which Skimz silencer is that? I also have the same skimmer too (which is an awesome nano skimmer if anyone is thinking about getting one) and a spare Skimz silencer... which doesnt fit in the stock airline tubing.

its the smallest of the skimz silencer sold at BRS. the stock tubing doesnt actually fit on it. I had to use a smaller piece of rigid tubing to fit into the skimz one and the rubber tubing fits on that

Thanks! I did exactly what you did and it works! It made the skimmer super quiet now + the convenience of adjusting the air intake.

If anyone is looking for a nano skimmer with a modded air silencer that skims pretty well, now is the chance! GLWS

thanks. yea it skimmed really well for me. But for my situation I cannot get my Nitrates of Phosphates to read anything but 0 even with the skimmer only running 12hr a day. So i decided to change it to a fuge to atleast help create my pod population for my mandarin.
