Yea mine is about 1.5 inches now and has multi branches. I thought that they were supposed to fade from white to blue towards the end of the branches. Mine has stayed all blue. :(

This is the best i can do as far as a progression goes. I think when i got mine it was fairly browned out and it looked like it wasn't going to make it. So, not quite sure if it was all blue or not. I know that it didn't start looking like it does now until about 6 months ago. The pic i posted above was taken about 3 months ago i believe.

I wish mine would hurry up and grow! I'm relatively happy with what color it is, I can live with it, but I'd like it to be the color of Matt's mini colony. Do you guys have any secrets to share when it comes to making it grow? I've got a decent growth rate but I'd like to have it grow faster (as with everything...)

Not sure Chelsey, i think mine is growing slow so i'm not one to ask. I am pounding mine with light though. Its about 12" directly below a 250 HQI Phoenix with 4 39" T5's.

This picture is almost a year old now, pictures aren't my stong point.

Icefire.jpg

It was fragged from the Mother (formally Aquascene Echinata) about 5/07, and here is the earliest picture I have.

Between the combination of my poor photography skills, horrible lighting, and a PO4 problem that has plaqued me, it hasn't grown that much. In fact, my Tubs Real Deal Echinata has grown twice as fast. I recently switch lighting and have solved the P04 problem and already am seeing inprovements, so hopefully I can get more pics in the future.
