IceCap 660-009

Hi everyone . I just purchased a icecap 660-009 from craigslist. I just noticed that the ballast is a 220 volt. My question is can i still run the ballast using a 110 volt outlet or will I have to run a dedicated 220 volt outlet just for the ballast?

I am pretty sure they are not dual voltage meaning you will have to run a dedicated 220v circuit.

no i don't se anything on it that has 110/220 volt . If I were to run it on 110 would it damaged it or will it under power it?

It would probably not even power it up, but I wouldn't risk it. You would risk damaging it. You could always ask Icecap to see if they could convert it.

I called IceCAp yesterday and I told them about my situation about the ballast being a 220v . They told me to send it in and they would convert it to a 120v.Those guys are one of the nicest people to talk to .
