Ok so I bought the icecap v3 battery to use with my innovative marine mighty jet pump and it turns out it won’t run on it at 12v. So what to do? Take it apart and add another one. Works fine now- not that pretty but it’s in the stand anyway.

How'd you mod the pump controller since I know the power supply is permanently attached. Does it now permanently run through this battery backup now?

Pump power and battery trickle charger connect to board input, pump controller connects to board output.

Is your trickle charger 24v too? I was just going to use a converter from my 12v battery for the pump since I also use my custom backup for a Ecotech pump.
