Icecap running t5

Would a icecap 430 run 4-t5 48" long, Im using it now to run 2-t12 48" long and was wanting to get 4 t5 bulbs instead

It can run 4 t5's but only 4x2 foot t5's . It can only run a maximum footage of 12 feet combined .
So that's 3 max . U need a 660 to run 4 x 4 ft t5's

Thanks , i was wanting to add t5 with my radions g3 pro do u think 3 would do just as good as 4 or should i go ahead and buy a 660, but i do already have the 430

Nah 3 imho will be fine . Proly 2 B+ n 1 CP . If this is going to be in a hood I would make sure it's got fans . The T5's will be over driven and will not last the life of the bulbs . It's best to try to cool them as t5's have a optimal temp to run . I wouldn't sweat it too much as that's a whole subject of it's own . It's sad u the need to sup the radions but it's the best way to cover your lighting needs . I totally agree with what you want to do .

i have a open top and these will have reflectors on them

but right now im running 2 vho 75.25 bulbs t-12 that is
would you change to 3 t5 or leave like i have

I would leave them alone if you are happy with the results . I would also not change anything over until I could not locate anymore vho's .
I think the 75/25's are a good choice for filler bulbs. Nothing broken /nothing to fix approach .Besides 2 vho are 220 watts n it's *** for tat with good reflectors with 162 watts 3 t5's .

I was thinking the same,so its practically i have 4 t5 with the 2 t12 i have but would like to get more blue rather then white but i only have the 2 vho on for abut 4 hours
