Setting up a QT tank cost barely anything. All it takes is a ten gallon plastic tote, cheap 50w heater, sponge filter, cheap air pump, and a few pieces of pvc. Why in the world would you not spend $30-40 dollars to keep from losing $100 in fish. I QT all fish and treat with CopperPower. The only excuse not to is laziness.

Sterilite 58 Qt. Storage Box Plastic, White($7.48), Aqueon Preset Aquarium Heater, 50W($8.15), Sponge Filter($3.88), Tetra Whisper Aquarium Air Pump for 10 gallon ($5.20), Copper Power (Endich) ACP0004B Blue Treatment for Marine Fish, 4-Ounce ($7.99)

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
