QT update because this tank has decided to humble me:

Fish are in quarantine and we’re running hypo. Salinity is locked in at treatment level and I am checking it like a paranoid scientist. The white spots have mostly dropped off and I’m not seeing new ones right now. They’re eating, acting normal, not gasping, not flashing — which feels like a small victory.

QT is bare bottom, simple setup, keeping ammonia in check and trying not to overthink every tiny behavior. The display tank is going fallow and basically sitting in time-out.

No celebrating yet.
