ID help please

I have a coral that I don't know what it is. Can you please help ID?

Looks like a type of nepthea which the kenyon tree coral is a part of...

I was thinking colt coral.

Is there any way to get a positive identification. I am fragging and need to know the monetary value? Thank you all for your help

The only real way to tell is to look at the spicules under a microscope.

One more question, if it is that hard to tell, why is a colt coral more valuable?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Colt coral tends to grow slower, which increases it's value a little. There are screaming green Nepthea sp from Palau and the like that are much more valuable monetarily and aesthetically (in my humble opinion).
