Well, it look like it. It has some green polyps.Does it move? Hard to tell but almost looks like it could be a encrusting coral lol.
Poor snail..If it has polyps and doesn't ever move I would assume some sort of encrusting coral. Just glue the snail in place and u have a free frag

Looks like some kind of monti or porites. Like others have said, for this to be an encrusting coral this snail must have slept real long near the original colony. Or someone who previously owned this snail thought it would be funny to glue a coral to the shell.Well, it look like it. It has some green polyps.
