ID on whats growing on my zoas

This thing has started to take off more in the past 2 weeks. Can someone help identify it and should I remove it or just let it grow?

Some kind of macro algae. You can wait to see what it is if you want. I would.

Looks like Caulerpa brachypus. It can grow rather quickly and become a pest, though this also makes it a good refugium algae (it also looks quite attractive in my opinion).

6 months of growth:

As @shwareefer mentioned above, I would allow the macroalgae to grow out slightly before deciding whether it is worth keeping or getting rid of.

Thanks for your help. It doesn't seem to bother the zoas much so I'll just let grow for a bit
