Hi my LFS has something in his tanks thats keeps everyone baffled.
If you look at it it doesnt move, but for some reason keeps expanding.
I will try and illustrate it with a couple of photos since a picture tells more then a thousand words :)
on the bottom are two pictures from a electronic microscope.

Please anyone who knows what it is.
And if there is anything to do to counter it?
it looks a bit like coral eggs. could it be?

Sponge? With the honeycomb structure, it looks like a sponge of some sort.
