I have a money snail in the tank but look different…. Don’t really look like a money snail as such, more like a limpet
 
I’m leaning limpet, is there a shell that is hard to the touch? Just stating the obvious, a close up picture would help.
 
Bought these from local fish market and they kept them fresh in NSW. Are these size shell fish good for filtering nitrates etc in a 100 gallon tank?
