Oh yeah no kidding. My wife bought by accident. I sent her to buy a certain coral and she came back with this. I list say its way bigger than when I first had it.

Out grows super fast...I'm helping my dad get rid of all the little sproutings.

How do you keep it in check?

Reduce it's size. The branches break off n that's how they spread. U could frag the branches n give them back to ur lfs (what I do) or u could just frag them n throw the branches in the trash. U could even get rid of the tree n keep a little frag of it. The frags don't spread until they get bigger.

So can someone please verify what the coral is right below the Kenya tree? I've been told its a hammer and I've been told its not. So which is it?

Ok so whoever told me it was a hammer is an wrasse hole...had me thinking it was a hammer

Not a hammer, that's for sure. Palythoas and that species better known as button polyps.
