ID this perple stuff maybe filter feeder?

hello,
i found this on one of my rock don't know what is called
can someone please ID it
and i think 90% that is good for the aquarium right ?

The area of tan colored stuff to the left of it in the picture I'm pretty sure is sponge and beneficial. The purple stuff maybe could be sponge but maybe could also be tunicates of some kind. Pictures from different angles might help.

A tunicate colony. They are normally safe and very helpful filter feeds. Normally meaning, not encroaching onto corals. If that happens, you can move coral, or cut the colony back.

I have several tunicates, just not a nice colony. I'm a bit jealous after seeing this thread again.
