I would think the color has little to do when IDing a coral. but the coral looks just like those daylight pics. Kinda purplish blue with some aqua color blotches

well, the reason i asked about the color, is because I am not sure if the war coral is the favites pentagona that is red & green, or if it is just another slang term for favites pentagona.

also, as far as getting into color to differentiate a coral, just look at all the zoa's and palys.

i'm not as stupid as i look :snicker:
