Dipping corals and found these on some of them. Amy ideas? Didn’t come off with coralrx

Spirorbid Worms.. filter feeders and not particularly harmful but they can reproduce rampantly growing on everything and can foul pumps and power heads.

Curious how. A pump spinning at whatever rpm won’t be fouled by something or am I wrong

Spirorbid worms are growing on the base of the coral. If pumps are not cleaned regularly these worms can and will cause pump issues. I've had to use vinegar to dissolve these guys.

Worms yes and I generally brush them off in a bowl keeping the coral wet with a NEW S O F T toothbrush
