Identify coral

Not sure If this is the right place to post but does anyone Know the actual name of this coral and if there is any special condition it needs light/placement/flow ect... all info on this is truly appreciated

I was told that it was a purple leather but when I searched i don't see anything that resembles this. What kind of coral is a Kenya tree

Since it's a soft coral I think the lights are a little to blue for it so that why I think its a Kenya since its not fully open

Can anyone tell me what is this white pasty stuff on my rocks and how to get rid of this and it's definitely not sand it seems to be some sort of algae. I admit tank was neglected for awhile but have since corrected those issues but now I can't get rid of what seems to be all this algae any suggestions? On how to manage this issue
