I found out what was causing my little acro dying problem when I got home today and 60% of my acros were in severe distress.

I had a new dishwasher installed just before the first wave of death happened. Come to find out, there is a bad seal that slightly leaks when the washer is on.

That same water containing all the detergent then makes its way through the floor and along the track of my drop ceiling and into the display.

I have no idea how much water made its way into my tank but I suspose it depleted my carbon pretty quick and is now taking its toll.

70% water change done and frags of everything that looked well enough to frag moved to a seperate system.

This sucks. My Orange Passion is totally bleached :*(

Big stylo is at 50% polyp bail which is awful for my tank

Ugh

Light are out and I'm trying to grab as many fish as I can without aggravating the acros anymore.

Tenuis behind the snow white OP is dead basically. Tort behind it is browned out and looks ready to peel.

Did you have to move the 2 colonies out or away from each other? Sorry for your losses! I must be some kind of bad luck cause yesterday was the day I guessed.

Sorry about not updating. I've been so frustrated and disgusted about probably going to have to break down and restart.

Besides PH, params have been rock steady after a huge water change. I've been changing the carbon in the reactor every few days but it's doing no good.

Sitting here and watching some stuff strip their way to a slow death while other stuff looks fine.

The shades of fall has stn on tips and shadowed base no "trunk" damage for now.

Heart and Soul looks fine haha

Few deep waters croaked but my big one from Battle Corals only looks half bad.

LPS are hit or miss, nem in a tank in the system is fine.

I want to puke. I'll get a pic of the SoF tomorrow.

So since no one won due to catastrophic events does that mean we all win by default once they regrow to fragable status?

Yea everyone is welcome to come down on Sat and grab whatever they want out of my front lawn as I break down my tank.

But really thanks for caring. I very much appreciate your concern about how my livestock is doing and totally not being selfish at all.

Sorry about the tank.
You'll bounce back quick.
Mine got chemical poisoning last weekend as well.
