So, i have already posted this on rc, but i figure i mine's well post it here considering it is an almost entire zoo tank..
Equipment
The tank is a 24g aqua pod with a 70w halide.
The bulb is a 14k something or another, this will soon be a 20k when i get time to replace it, it also may be upgraded to a 150w because i am not extremely thrilled with the amount of light the 70w is putting out.
2 maxijet's; 1 1200 for return and 1 400 in the tank.
Mods
I replaced the stock pump with a maxi-jet 1200 for the return and have a mj400 in the tank for added circulation.
I also fitted a modded bakpak 2 onto the back of the aquarium with a mj900 powering it in back compartment.
I also removed all the sponge and crap from the back and replaced it with about 12 pounds of live rubble rock.
Live stock:
About 20lbs of live rock in the tank
an inch and a half of live sand
2 clownfish,1 female ocellaris and 1 male black ocellaris.
a mated pair of blue mandarin dragonets
2 peppermint shrimp to combat any stray aiptasia.
2 fireshrimp for pretty affects.
and 2 cleaner shrimp for cleaning...lol.
And an entire bunch of zoo's none which have names except a big giant colony of whammin watermelons and 8 polyps of my fanta-sea purples, i had alot more, that i was going to sell, but those decided they had legs and walked away somewhere. My entire rock!!!! Completely dissapeared, i was mad to say the least....
Sorry for all the rambling, pictures in next post...
