Im back! 60 Gallon Cube Build

So after taking about 10 years off I’m back in the hobby! I was given an established (but neglected) 60 gallon cube tank from a neighbor. I’ve actually had the tank up and running for about 8 months so im going to post the progress pics I took through the process then start detailing the process from here on out. I hope you guys follow along!

This is what the tank looked like when I picked it up.

Got the tank broke down, scrubbed all the rocks cleaned everything, replaced bulk heads, took out all coral and fish and added a little live rock

One hitch hiker survived the scrubbing… neon green hair mushroom

After the mini cycle because I used existing rock. I slowly started adding fish and small soft coral frags.

At this point I had a pair of clowns and 3 chromis

Several weeks later I added a few LPS

Several more weeks later I went crazy on frags and had been slowly adding fish as they completed QT

At this point I had
3-chromis
2-clowns
1-flame hawk
1- yellow corris wrasse
1-yellow watchmen goby

Corals include
3-torches
1-hammer
1-frogspawn
2-acans
Several favias
Jack-o-lantern lepto
2- birds nest
1-candy cane
2-monti cap
3- various chalices
Several other small monti frags,
3 - digitata forest fire and bubble gum
A couple small acro frags I was given
Various zoas
