I know how you feel my torch kills anything next to it including my frogspawn i know they should get along but it just dont happen that way.

True, I've seen some amazing euphyllia gardens with torches next to hammers and spawns but mine even hates other torches :(

True. I've got an amazing shroom in a little cage shoved in the corner near him that he better not mess with! If he does he gets given away!

Lol, lets hope for the best. I'm still amazed at how far the feeder tentacles extend when they are out. I had to move mine higher up so it wouldn't touch anything. May have to frag it soon.

Lol someone gave me a hand size Hollywood stunner chalice and my silver hammer put off a few 4-5 inch sweeper tentacles killing 1/4 of it then the chalice put off sweepers and the hammer isn't doing well. I moved it so no worries :)

Like the look. I'm pulling my ZOA's and some LPs from my 90 tomorrow. Looking to do something similar with the rockwork. People keep selling me $10 sps frags and they need room to spread out :)Here's mine. Had to keep the thread going :)
Thanks! The more I learn and the more tanks I see, I realize how much more I like minimalistic aquascapes with open space in the water column and the sandbed. Throw in a bunch of colorful sticks, with room to grow in, and that's my goal.

Hi,
Here is my first reef tank after 64 years breeding and keeping all sorts of tropical freshwater
fish, invertebrates and plants. A very modest effort but still it gives an unexpected pleasure.

Why do you say that? Before I ever joined this R2R, I had a found a picture of your tank online and saved it for future inspiration (i.e. I want my tank to look like "that"!).
So I'm not sure what the issue is with posting pics of your tank. Why is R2R denying newbies like me the opportunity to see it? Can you explain?
