Day 2 Aquascape sand and water in Went with the Caribsea Fiji pink sand 20 lbs and Caribsea dry rock. As recommended by several in the group returned the api test kits and purchased Hanna dkh, Nitrate, & Ca. Salifert NO2 & Amonia. Doased the Brightwell start XLM

Doing dry rock fish and coral LPS and softies. I want to do a symbiosis tank so clownies & anemone goby and shrimp pair some sexy shrimp and pompom crab. Obviously gonna have to wait a considerable amout of time before adding the anemone but super excited for the tank!
Just added my first goby and pistol shrimp to my tank yesterday. I share in your excitement! Can’t wait to see photos of your set up as it comes along.

The Nuvo 20 is a great starter tank. I have mine for almost 3 years the first 1.5 were a struggle, new reefer and dry rocks. I went softies and some inverts from your list; pistol, Pom Pom, have some others cleaner shrimp, peppermint, emeralds, conch and a few others.

Tank update: Wasn't excited about the Hygger Wavemaker I had in the Aquarium and saw BRS was doing a 25% off MP 10's so I decided to take the plunge. So glad I did the MP 10 is an amazing wave maker and flows seamlessly with the AI prime 16 via the Mobius app. Tank is still cycling yesterday Ammonia was at .25 and is now unreadable via the Salifert ammonia test kit NO3 at 5 and NO2 via Hanna checker 0.3 this AM. Took a sample of water to Coral Corral for verification the Salifert tests are hard to read IMO very subtle color changes. For those in the area its a great little shop and the staff are all very knowable. Anyhow I digress.... The frostbite clown pair I had my eye on sold while I was waiting on cycle to finish kind of sad about that 
but said they get them in all the time. Hopefully they will have another pair by the time the tank if fully ready. If not ill wait not a lot of space in a 20 g for fish and want to make sure I get the right ones! Wish I had more pics to post however tank looks the same as the day I posted aquascape pics. Tomorrow I celebrate 1 week since my journey began back as a reefer So much has changed in 20 years glad to have you all on this journey with me! As a side note if you have a favorite setting or suggestion for a single MP 10 on a 20 gallon tank I'm all ears almost too many options lol

Tank Update. I think we are nearing end of Cycle. Just under 2 weeks Amonia was 0 this AM & Nitrite 0.5. Nitrate 3. Starting to get some Diatoms showing up in tank. Few more days and can start adding some critters!

Tank Update: Tank is coming along nicely. This morning on the reef Amonia hit 0 Nitrite still showing up a bit at 0.05 and Nitrite 6.3. Looks like the good guys are winning! Diatoms are starting to do their thing and spotted an unknown visitor last night not sure how he got in there possibly in the sand as I'm doing sterile rock. If anyone knows what he is it would be nice to know. Seems to be cleaning rock of Diatoms. Super fast for a snail. Had a heck of a time getting a picture of him

Tank Update: Tank Maintainance today. Home made controller board. Installed on APS stand 3/4 inch plywood hit it with krylon Black and 4 computer coard pass-through for mounting. With space for my black Friday splurge. Neptune Jr from BRS coming on Friday

Looks great. How do you like the stand so far? I'm considering the same tank, but skeptical about the stand. I like the idea of an aluminum stand but seeing mixed reviews about quality of the APS in particular.Tank Update: Tank Maintainance today. Home made controller board. Tank Update: Been awhile since posted any updates. So I figured I should stop slacking and do an update. Swapped out AI Prime for new Radion XR 15 G6 Blue. Merry Christmas to me. Also added a Neptune Apex Jr to the mix. As far as livestock goes Added a pair of ORA black frostbite clowns a Hectors Goby & a Royal Grama. Tons of New Frags 2 Yumas 2 Florida Mushrooms. Japanese Neon Toadstool Blue & Green frogspawn couple Favias & a bunch of Zoas. Of the Zoas the Utter Chaos and Armor of God Zoas have to be my fav. Also have some Rainbow Incinerators which are really nice but kinda went backwards on me I'm thinking due to light. Since the upgrade they seem to be turning a corner. Fingers crossed
