Immersion heater?

Setting up coral farm (1200 gal) in basement (stable 55-60 deg years round) thinking of using an immersion heater instead of 10 1000 watt indiv units. Any thoughts/most are SS but after reading looking for titanium unit in the 2000/3000 watt range.

A titanium model may work, but what if the thermostat sticks on, I think that would be plenty enough to cook any coral in the system.
More heaters, each lower wattage = less damage if one sticks on. Just my humble opinion.

Also what is this going to be made of, glass acrylic or a stock tank?
If you only want look down, use stock tank(s), build a surround to look like a hot tub surround, line the bottom and sides with thick foam and use fiberglass unfaced to insulate the sides. Then finish off the top with wood. Would be a nice finished look and should DRASTICALLY lower needed heat input.
