Imperator Angel laying on side

Hello I would appreciate any advice I just received my juvenile imperator angel and he is now laying on its side at the bottom. My water parameters are fine. I think I read this that sometimes they lay down. It was swimming around for first hour. I acclimated fine. Is there any tips or advice for this behavior. I dont want to lose the fish. I dont have a QT either so thats out. Thanks.

From local fish store or was it brought online? If it was shipped directly to you, could been exposed to too much ammonia. Been there. Good luck

It's never a good sign that a fish is laying flat at the bottom. Sorry his outlook may not be good.

Thanks yeah I bout him from live aquaria.com online shipped overnight I just gently touched him with net now he is swimming around I dont know what is going on lol. He was a pretty expensive fish so I am hoping it is just stress?

If he goes back laying on its side, that's not good. Mine kept on doing this and ended up dead.

If does lay down again. Call live aquaria ASAP

I always take pictures of the box, inside the box to show any damage upon arrival. And I also scoop out some water to test for ammonia. To test while accumulating Any feedback you can give to the vendor will help out.

Yeah hes hanging in a cave now upright but breathing rapidly I was reading that these places that shop fish generally keep their salinity low mine is sitting at 1.025 1.026 range mabye adding a little RO water in my sump would help him adjust what do yall think?

If he was properly acclimated that shouldn't be an issue...
